You will most likely keep your gear and achievements (level, AC, etc) as long as your name isn't taken. I'm not sure about Gcoins.
If your name is taken, then you won't be able to have your account transferred properly.
Expect a lot of bugs.
Some people have never been able to have their accounts transfer for unknown reasons.
Expect a lot of lag and even poorer customer service. I heard Webzen is very laggy and their customer service is horrible. You wouldn't think because of all the events that they have, eh?
I know there are positive things, too, but... I think the negatives might outweigh the positives on this one...
We have the end of July to find out what is really going to happen.
